We started breeding Huskies seven years ago. Joy of the SilverMoon and Quendy of the Snowy Land have been with us since 1995. We are proud to offer puppies of legendary proportion and color. Each of our pups has the confirmation and quality to guarentee " Heads" turning reults. All of the past Litters were expectional beautiful and were sold out quickly.

Our pride and goal is to breed rare double and triple registered Siberian Huskies of excellent and conformation, with friendly, and intriguingly intelligent personality, very athletic and of course sound and healthy.  With limited breeding numbers, yet quality as high as possible we offer Dogs of a variety of ages and training stages, from puppy and breeding stock to well trained and willing companion, ready to go to a new home to be enjoyed, treasured and loved by family and kids.

Now we have 4 hudge runs set with shade trees, grassy areas, pools, Iglos and wooden doghouses and we are fixing to put cement floors in each area to keep the dogs drier in the rainy seaons. In the Texas heat extra shade was given with side shade panels and overhead thick nylon mash. One area is mainly used for "Maternity Ward" away from the rest of the dogs. More Kennel are added since we have 3 more Males.

We created a cach-all-area, a convenient way to keep the dogs in when their induvitual kennel needs to be cleaned, etc.....The dogs can run to greet the other dogs, but can't ge to them and it's easy to put them back into their own kennel. The cat always hangs around! He will kill of sml. snakes and also miaus at me when something is not kosher!

Some times, my life on the Ranch in Texas reminds me on the small village Naurath -Eifel, Germany. where I spend the first 4 years of my life, visiting our neighbors goats, cows and dogs. Much of that  is still the same except that now my day begins with my own critters and most of the day is spend attending to them. Currently 20 some cats, 14 dogs and 5 horses demand a lot of attention, never mind the upkeep of the 10 acres of land. With my husband Larry we started " Smiling Bear Ranch " 8 years ago with  Joy of the Silver-Moon and Quendy of the Snowy Land, 2 Siberian Huskies.They have been with us since 1995. Our ranch is tucked away between Dallas and Houston. The Property was an untamed wilderness and in parts it still is kept as a wild life refuge with frequent visits of Deer, Wild Turkey, Coyotes, Bobcats, Black Panters,snakes and more! I worked as a Realtor for a number of years in Texas, prior to that I lived and worked in Las Vegas, Nv., with interruption, spending a few years here & there in Germany, concentration on attending Art Classes. Once we were back in the States, practicing Real Estate, my husband was deployed, again! I gave up the Real Estate books devoting myself to raising  Siberian Huskies, Boer Show goats and Horses. I did love my days as a Realtor, the Fancy Life in Las Vegas but being a Rancher offers so much more!
