At that time the Flamingo Hotel was the home base for Dick Clark, Comedy team Sandler & Young, Ray Charles, Fats Domino, just to mention a few! The article above is about " Tony Orlando " appearing at the Riviera Hotel. It was a wonderful show and Mr. Orlando gave up all he had to give. The Audience kept on asking for more...more. I watched the show from stage rather than sitting in the press booth to get a better feel of the show. In Memory of Ray Charles The paper the intiniary is written on is fading, but the Memory of Ray Charles will live on! Mr. Ray Charles appeared at the Silver Bird Hotel & Casino in 1979.  Got 1 word for his Show " Unforgetable"!

Celeberty Attractions at Ceasars Palace, Las Vegas, Nv. Program for June & July 1979 Memories of Frank Sinatra   Sinatra was a regular at Ceasars Palace and folks from all over the world flew in to catch his show. When " Blue Eyes" announced his retirement one had to pull some strings to get a ticket. Memorabelia  date: 1979, as you see it was blessed with Cearars Palaces best Champagne! ( owner: D.Sanders) Cher       Tom Jones         1.st Anniversary of the MGM Hotel & Casino, 1974       Memory of Redd Fox Redd Fox appeared at the Hacienda Hotel & Casino for many years. He had an excellent show evenso he would talk about "Tabu" Subject matter...Quote: You got to wash your Ass....! The Audience would crack up!! Redd loved his Keno games and he had hired some one to play the games for him when he was in the Showroom. Memories of Ricky Nelson in Concert This foto was never published before! ( 1970/ 71) Kenny Roger was appearing in the Golden Nuget's lounge downtown Las Vegas to an allmost empty room. Since I worked next door to the Golden Nuget I had a chance to watch his shows during my lunch breaks and he would  frequent the Pioneer's Club to get away from the same old ..same old and hang around for a while. it sure took him a while to get to the top.  Remember:" You took a fine time to leave me Lucille....? Sands Hotel & Casino Hembre and Sherman James appear in the lounge at the Sands Hotel & Casino. Hembre and James were with the Buck Ram Platters for a number of years and performed at the Maxim Hotel and Casino to a full house. no wonder, they sang all the Original Platters songs. Who does not like the song: Smoke gets in your eyes?
